The trail network for the disabled extends for about 400 meters within the monumental area and then continues on to the hamlet of Ca' del Bosco in the forested region of the Nature Reserve.
In the monumental area, the trails allow visiting the chapels of Our Lady Crowned, St. John the Baptist, the Way of the Cross arcade and the chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows, as well as the Sanctuary of the Holy Trinity.
From the lookout point near the Sanctuary, the disabled may also enjoy the wonderful view of Lake Maggiore and the Pre-Alps range of the Lombardy region.

The entire area around the Sacro Monte of Ghiffa offers countless opportunities for trekking, with connections to the lakeside and to the mountain side from which, surrounded by nature, you can reach the surrounding ancient villages as far as Verbania.
Ancient devotional path (path to Ronco): starting from Ghiffa, it takes about 40 minutes to reach Sacro Monte along the ancient pavement.
Path to Frino-Verbania: from Sacro Monte it is only a few minutes to reach the historic path connecting Switzerland and Verbania "La Via delle genti".
Other characteristic paths recommended for enthusiasts are:
- Historical archaeological path "Signs on the Stone",
- the path called "A Reserve in the Green"
- the path Ghiffa - SS.Trinità - Lago delle Streghe - Pollino
