Chapel XIX - The Resurrection
The chapel was built at the end of the sixteenth century to house the scene of Jesus is Deposited At the end of the nineteenth century, it was redecorated to house the Resurrection with the Angel announcing the resurrection to the Pious Women, by Antonio Brilla (about 1889). The frescoes, by Luigi Morgari (1892) from Turin, show Jesus resurrected amidst the fear of the soldiers guarding the tomb and Jesus with Peter on Lake Tiberias.
