Chapel XI - The Resurrection
The chapel was built around the year 1622 and houses eight statues by Francesco Silva with Jesus standing in the center, suspended, bearing the triumphant banner of the cross. The painted scenes depict Heaven and the Apparitions of Jesus to the Virgin Mary, Mary Magdalene and the Apostles and are the work of Isidoro Bianchi (1650-1654) who worked with Morazzone, just like the external frescoes: David and Moses were painted with a single color and the Angel is placed at the top of the central window.
