This chapel was built in 1715, thanks to the donations of noble families from Frassinetto, Salassa and Feletto. In the late 18th century, it was handed over to Count Ignazio Valperga of Cuorgnè, who had it frescoed by painter Grosso of Ivrea. Now, the weeping angel on the vault is all that remains of the fresco. In the early 20th century, the artist Aluffo added a Palestinian landscape as backdrop, and the sculptor Erbetta of Saluzzo added four new plaster statues, and restored the two previous ones made of terracotta.
