The chapel's construction started in 1715, thanks to funds donated by the community of Valperga. It is located on the highest point of the Monte. The architectural style is complex: it is an octagon with a perimetric portico. The interior underwent two different decorative stages: a more recent one by artist Aluffo (1905) that covered the 18th century one. At the same time, sculptor Erbetta shaped the plaster statues, while Barengo restored the ones in terracotta.
