The construction of the chapel, financed by the community of Pralungo, was started in 1662 and completed in the first decade of the eighteenth century. The scene painted by Pietro Giuseppe Auregio shows a group of girls at the Temple of Jerusalem engaged in a variety of activities: the Virgin Mary is sitting at the worktable, surrounded by angels. Giovanni Galliari painted the architectural background, signed and dated in 1718. Statues and paintings were restored between 2017 and 2019.
