The chapel, completed approximately in 1640, was financed by the communities of Chiavazza, Ronco and Zumaglia. It is decorated with statues by Giovanni d'Enrico and his school. The scene was reorganized in the early eighteenth century by Pietro Giuseppe Auregio and represents the wedding of the Virgin Mary. Her statue is at the center of the scene, before the High Priest and next to St. Joseph who is holding a blooming pastoral staff. All around them there are their families. On the right, some of Joseph's rivals are breaking their staffs to show their disappointment because they were not chosen. In 1919, the frescoes were restoredby Paolo Giovanni Crida.
