The Annunciation
The chapel was financed by the community of Candelo and from the early eighteenth century also by the community of Cossato. The sculptor of the group of statues was Francesco Sala from Como, but the scene was recreated by Bartolomeo Termine and reworked and integrated in 1714 by Pietro Giuseppe Auregio. The Archangel Gabriel surrounded by angels and cherubs appears to a kneeling Mary. God watches over her from above. On the walls, repainted in 1969, originally there was a representation of the interior of a room overlooking an oriental landscape.
