As for the previous chapel, it was the Gilardoni family from Volesio, who ordered the construction of the chapel in 1666. The date is marked by Agostino Silva, the artist of the group of sculptures, together with his signature, on the left wall of the building. Among the six characters, there is once again the figure of a man with a prominent goiter, here caught teasing Jesus. Carlo Gaffuri from Como is the documented artist of the frescoes. The scenes on the walls depict Peter recognized by the crowd as a disciple of Jesus and the Ecce homo.
