The chapel dates back to the period between 1663 and 1667. It was financed by Andrea Cetti from Lenno. He was a Larian merchant, whose coat of arms stands on the facade. His portrait is inside the sanctuary, to which he donated the refined carved organ, still visible today, on whose wooden case the family coat of arms is represented. The statues of Agostino Silva show Jesus, covered by a red mantle, surrounded by agitated figures, gesturing restlessly. The frescoes are attributed to Giovanni Paolo Recchi and Carlo Gaffuri from Como.
