The chapel, ordered by the Municipality of Sala, shows the twelve apostles, grouped around the uncovered sarcophagus and, at the top, the Assumption of Mary. One of the statues of the apostles shows on its back the date 1665 and the initials of Francesco Silva. The frescoes of the Eternal Father, the angels on the dome, and the landscapes, are the work of an unknown artist, who might have engraved his initials V.F. on the right wall.
