Chapel I - The Annunciation
The chapel is dedicated to the first joyful mystery. The seventeenth-century frescoes depicting the room of the Virgin are deemed the work of Salvatore Pozzi di Puria, a Milanese artist who had already worked inside the sanctuary. The statues are probably connected to the Silva’s workshop in Ticino. The statues are attributed to the Silvas from Ticino and their apprentices.
