St. Joseph's First Dream
It depicts the story of Joseph's first dream, when the archangel appears to him to inform him that the Virgin Mary, his wife, is expecting a child from God.
The scene, of strong realism, with Saint Joseph, the archangel and a sewing Virgin Mary, was created in the early seventeenth century by Giovanni d’Enrico and placed inside the chapel after 1613.
The decoration of the walls, with fake tapestries, depicts the interior of a house and was repainted in 1927.
