Basilica
At the end of the 15th century there was already a small church on the Sacro Monte, known as the ‘Old Church’. However, in 1614 the Fabbrica decided to build a majestic Basilica, alongside the existing structure. The work continued for over a century. The inside of the church was completed at the beginning of the eighteenth century, but the façade was only inaugurated in 1896.
