The architecture of this chapel is one of the most successful ones created by Bernascone. The stone flames, on the vases at the corners of the balustrade, anticipate the theme of the Pentecost. The Virgin Mary and the eleven apostles, at the center of the scene, are receiving the flame of the Holy Spirit. A white dove appears on the vault. They are the work of Francesco Silva and his collaborators. While the frescoes were created by Federico Bianchi, assisted by the brothers Girolamo and Giovan Battista Grandi, who also created the complex architectural setting.
