Jesus' dispute with the doctors at the temple
The chapel is located on the plateau area, where once the village of Cardalona stood, as mentioned by many ancient sources. It completes the tale of the Joyful Mysteries. Its construction began in 1881, as a vow of the seriously ill bishop Nazari of Calabiana. It still contains the statues by Antonio Brilla. They depict Jesus discussing with the religious doctors, surrounded by views of Jerusalem and portions of the Temple, painted by Agostino Caironi.
