The prayer of Jesus in the garden
The chapel, perhaps built in the early seventeenth century, was completely rebuilt starting in 1860, by will of the Restoration Commission. The 19th century intervention had the entrance changed, as it was originally located on the opposite side of the building. In 1883, Bishop Nazari of Calabiana commissioned the decoration of the interior, at his own expense. The statues were created by Brilla and the paintings by Caironi, who restored the interior of the Temple, with openings that allow views of a garden and exotic architectures.
