The original chapel, dating back to the early 17th century, contained statues by Tabacchetti and on the vault an angelic choir by Alberini, partially still visible. At the end of the 19th century, Antonio Brilla created a new group of painted plaster statues and the painter Maggi restored and integrated the frescoes.
