Find the stones

Since ancient times, natural materials have been used to build houses, churches and palaces: wood, stone, sand, earth, straw.  Some materials, once collected, were already ready for construction. Others, such as bricks or tiles, made of clay, had to be baked in large, hot ovens before being used. 
But in this game we will not see materials that required such complex workmanship. As we explore the chapels of the Sacro Monte of Ghiffa, we will discover a material that might seem simple, but is not: stone.

We want to challenge your spirit of observation. During the tour, the app will show you a series of images. You will have to find out which images belong to the chapel you are in. There will be details that are very difficult to spot. We will explain to you what these images are and which stones are used!
