Mirror of its community
The Sacro Monte represents the strong link between the Ossuccio community, its territory and its faith. It tells us a story of emigration and attachment to this land, of identity, trade and commerce. A story that shows the continuous search for funds to finance the work, the ingenuity of artists from Como and Ticino, the characters portrayed inside the chapels and the ex-votos donated to the Sanctuary.
